I have been fortunate to live a life filled with challenges, opportunities, and experiences—many of which began simply because I decided to pursue something that once seemed out of reach.
Over the years, I have realized dreams of becoming a military pilot, building a career in the aerospace industry, continuing my education, learning about different cultures and languages, and taking on opportunities that have continually pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of. Some chapters have ended, others are still being written, and my goals continue to evolve. What has remained constant is my desire to keep learning, growing, and finding the next challenge.
I have never believed that where we are today has to define where we can go tomorrow. Some of the most rewarding experiences in my life have come from pursuing goals that initially seemed unrealistic, difficult, or even impossible. I have learned that progress rarely comes from waiting until the path is perfectly clear; sometimes it begins simply by deciding that something is worth pursuing and then taking the next step.
And I am still dreaming.
One of those dreams has always been space. I still hope that someday I might sit on the surface of the Moon, look back at the Earth, and be able to say, “What I once dreamed, I made a reality. What was once only a thought has become a memory I will carry forever.”
Whether or not every dream ultimately takes the form I once imagined, I intend to continue becoming better than I was yesterday, pursuing opportunities that challenge me, and seeing just how far determination, curiosity, and a willingness to learn can take me.
My creed remains simple: nothing is impossible to those who believe and put forth the effort to achieve.
As I continue pursuing my own goals, I hope that sharing some of what I have learned along the way might encourage others to pursue theirs as well.
